- GPS info: Display various information provided by your GPS
mouse. This includes a nifty speedometer and speed based volume
changes. Your GPS device must be accessible via com port.

If you also want to use your GPS device with your navigation
software, you have to install a port-sharing software like
GPS Gate (http://franson.com/gpsgate/ - trial version only).

To use the speed based volume, you have to set the minimum
and maximum for speed and volume. If your speed drops below
your min.speed, the min.volume will be used. If you are faster
then your configured max.speed, the volume will be set to
max.volume. In between the volume will change accordingly to
your speed.

Please note that the values for this feature are always based
on your speed unit setting, so if you switch from metric to
imperial (and vice versa) you also have to change these values.

- Quickjump menu: A user configurable popup menu for custom
commands like jumping to mediaplayer or initiate folder copy
(see below).

The new command "app.showquickjumpmenu" can be bound to a hotkey
or used by the skin creators for a specific button (as already
found in the Dark&Silver skin's main menu e.g.). In the latter
case, the skin creator also should provide information, which
commands the user should add to this menu.

- Folder copy: By calling the command "app.startfoldercopy" (either
by hotkey, the new quickjump menu or a skin button) up to 3 user
configured folders will be copied to the specified target
location.

This can be used for example to copy new audio files from a
portable storage device or pictures from your USB-connected
digital camera to the CarPC's local hard drive. As long as a
device has a windows drive letter, it can be used as source or
destination for this new feature.

- Fullscreen WMP controls: This optional feature enables you to
control the media player while staying in fullscreen mode using
coordinate-sensitive clicks. The following "hot areas" are
available:

1: decrease volume
2: mute
3: increase volume
4: previous track in playlist
5: leave fullscreen
6: next track in playlist
7: rewind
8: play/pause
9: fast forward

- Run custom commands: Configure up to 5 custom commands to be
executed by hotkey, the new quickjump menu or a button in a skin
(these can be found in Dark&Silver in the external apps menu).
There will be no quickbar so this is designed to run applications
without a window, mostly for automation purposes.

Now you can call selfmade batch programs for example, which may
clean your temp directory, move media files from an incoming
folder to their right location and anything else you can think
of.
